Description

Teacher: Alyssa Sitarik


This class introduces the student to the media that expresses our humanity and explores a variety of media chronologically, from the arts of the prehistoric to the 21st century. The class will touch on the experience of the arts, and an examination of styles in the arts. As a class we will explore the visual arts, music, dance, literature, theater, and film, and their use through time. Students will keep a journal during this class.


Supply cost: $35 (Materials fee includes a textbook)


Supplies needed: Unlined journal or bound sketchbook


Prerequisites: 9th grade reading and writing level, there will be writing in this class
