Hi, I'm Rebecca (or Becca)! I have a B.S. in Biology with a background in marine biology and environmental education. I have 10 years of experience as a camp counselor/director through different organizations such as 4-H and Girl Scouts. My hobbies include outdoor recreation (camping, kayaking, hiking), playing Dungeons & Dragons and other TTRPGs, baking and doing jigsaw/word puzzles.
Shawn (husband), Amelia (5yo), and I are at the beginning of our homeschool journey. Our goal is to immerse ourselves in experiential learning and travel as much as we can. I am excited for another great year at Rising Roots and to be a part of the Teaching Team!
