Hi! I am Katie. I am a mom to three amazing kids, 5, 7 and 9. We are accidental homeschoolers, having decided not to start my eldest in virtual kindergarten, and after loving the experience have decided to stick with it for as long as it works for us. Our homeschool style is eclectic, we knock out the basics and then delve into whatever child led interests we can manage to foster. As a family we love to spend time outside hiking, kayaking, and camping. We also love playing board games and reading awesome books aloud.
I graduated from the Naval Academy with a BS in Political Science and spent the next five years serving as a surface warfare officer onboard ships. After I was honorably discharged, I went to law school and obtained my law degree. I am presently a deputy law clerk for an appellate judge.
