Building community is the core of our mission at Rising Roots! We are committed to Rising Roots remaining a welcoming, inclusive place for homeschoolers of all beliefs and backgrounds. A true cooperative effort, all families contribute to making Rising Roots’ weekly gatherings a success. Some families are members of the Teaching Team and others have roles on the Community Team. Community Team members fulfill both a Community Support Role and a Community Enrichment Role. Community Support Roles are the backbone of our weekly operations at Rising Roots, and Community Enrichment Roles ensure that Rising Roots remains a vibrant, exciting place to be, with new and varied “extras” and field trips.
