Charissa Stork(She/Her)
Hello :) I’m Charissa and my family and I joined Rising Roots in the Fall of 2022. We quickly grew to love the community, classes, and events, and look forward to co-op days with excitement!
My children are entering 4th, 6th, and 8th grades. We have homeschooled since preschool, and in 6th grade started utilizing a virtual cyber charter school. This allows us the flexibility to do schoolwork at times that work best for us, and modify our school schedules to be able to attend weekly co-op.
I attended Millersville University and graduated with a BS in Molecular Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I currently work full-time so you may often see me on my laptop while at Rising Roots (feel free to say ‘Hi’ anytime!).
In my spare time I like to plan adventures/vacations for my family, read a good book, organize my planner, spend time outdoors, and be with my family.
We are looking forward to another fun year at Rising Roots!
