I've been homeschooling our 3 children from the very beginning. We lean towards a mix of nature inspired, hands on, project based homeschooling.
I received my bachelors in philosophy form Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. I have taught various classes and workshops throughout the years, including adult & children's yoga, art classes, both cooking workshops & small animals husbandry on a working 1800s farm. Reading, kayaking, hiking, swimming, skiing, crafting, and cooking with friends & family are my favorite things!
I hope to use my love of nature, food, art, adventure, & movement to create unique classes to share with the Rising Roots community.
