Jenn Terfinko-Barnett, (She/Her)
Jenn Terfinko-Barnett, (Executive Director) has been homeschooling since 2017.
Prior to homeschooling, Jenn held positions in management & outreach programming within the nonprofit & for-profit sectors; as well as years in higher education inside the classroom and in student affairs. She holds a Masters in Sociology from Lehigh University where she completed her thesis on Homeschoolers as a Social Movement. Jenn obtained her BA in Sociology from Bloomsburg University where she also earned an English Minor with a Racial & Ethnic Minorities Concentration. During her undergraduate work she interned at the US Commission on Civil Rights while taking a course on Nonprofit Management through the Foundation Center.
Jenn has a passion for education and humanitarianism. This passion coupled with her professional & personal experience guides her eclectic homeschool style and provides her with a strong business sense. Jenn believes a child learns best when they can experience what they are learning; any subject can be taught through a game or hands on project!
In her spare time Jenn enjoys music, LEGO, sewing, being a Girl Scout, and traveling with her family! Jenn is always up for a fun adventure and some good sarcasm!
