CHELSEA GRIMMETT (she/her)
Chelsea Grimmett, (Program Director) is a mom of two and is passionate about home education and keeping the wonder and magic of childhood.
She believes strongly in the inquisitiveness of children and finds joy in watching them learn and discover their place in this world.
Before full-time homeschooling motherhood, Chelsea worked directly with children in the Kansas foster care system. She and her husband managed a home of 9 teenage boys (some of whom they are still in touch with to this day!). This experience led to a love for working with children, and especially in seeing them succeed in their education goals.
Chelsea strongly believes in equity for all, and this belief is highlighted in all that she is a part of. Chelsea is a Girl Scout who loves volunteering with her daughter's troop. She is actively involved with the local homeschooling community and has thoroughly enjoyed teaching a STEM Class to local homeschoolers. Chelsea is excited to be a part of the initiative to provide a secular space for homeschool families in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. In her down time, Chelsea is an avid reader, enjoys handcrafts, and is a “collector of information” - truly a lifelong student.
